"Over time we [Wagstaff] have faced challenges in balancing both support and shop improvement efforts. The work and efforts of ISSSC (The International Society for Six Sigma Certifications, Inc), as a guide, in the improvement steps have been instrumental in bringing both sides [support and improvement] to an efficient solution. In addition, it has opened employee’s minds to ideals and solutions, not ingrained in our traditional culture or philosophy. An external audit will only improve any organization. Combining that external audit with facilitation of any lean or Six Sigma improvement will improve the return and accelerate the success while eliminating the stumbling blocks that delay and frustrate the team. A speedy solution with a higher success rate only adds to the ROI of the initiative.
Within the scope of this and other projects, we have seen the success and invaluable benefits, we have come to expect from ISSSC, in their valued assistance in improving the entire process at Wagstaff.
